Welcome to my personal website. Here you can find information about me, my research, my personal life and activities, and some of the things that I found exciting and worth living in this world.

By now, I consider myself as a citizen of the world, after having lived and traveled to many of the continents of the planet. My scientific work, my personal commitment and my philosophy of life are all coming together to form my unique identity in this world. This unique personal identity is not defined monotonically by what I do, where I live, or by the colors and composition of my DNA, but rather by my personal aspirations and visions. My personal path in life has always been non-monotonic and very complex, and early on I learned to appreciate the value of expecting the unexpected and managing the complex.

Heraclitus, many thousand years ago used the metaphor of a river to describe our living realities in the world. He argued that no matter how many times we step in a river, the river is not the same. Life changes in turbulent ways constantly, so do we and our personality, beliefs, aspirations, attitudes and behaviors. Unless we can embrace both the complexity of the world we live in, and who we are, our journey through life experience will not be as rewarding as it can or should be.
